Program Outline
Since finance can be a tricky subject to those who do not have a financial/accounting background, the game board-based program incorporates a fun and competitive element to the training environment which is likely to engage the participants more quickly and make the experience more memorable.
During the day, 12 (minimum) - 24 (maximum) participants are divided into 6 teams. Each of the teams is its own business; team members are the "CEOs" of their respective businesses; each of the businesses starts from scratch. Teams will follow the instructions provided in the game board format in order to make decisions relevant to their respective businesses including pricing decisions, market roll out decisions, buying decisions. At the end of the training session, participants will discover that some of the businesses (or teams) will be more profitable than others, participants will share the reasons for the outcomes for their respective businesses with others in the class, and everyone will review how the information from the class applies directly to their respective roles in the organization.
Enterprise ProfitAbility® is a 1-day, game board-based training designed to help participants learn:
• the concepts that provide a greater understanding of a corporation's
balance sheet,
• the difference between profit and cash,
• what drives cash flow,
• what companies can do to improve their financial performance, and
• how each person in the organization can contribute to the company's
ability to achieve its financial objectives. |
